Scott Adams' immensely popular comic strip lampoons everything that is wrong with corporate culture today. Scott leaves no stone, no boneheaded management practice unturned. I often ask myself, why didn't I stick with the drawing class?
K. S. Brooks--A former co-worker of mine who managed to keep her writing and photographic talents a well-kept secret--at least from me--for almost 20 years! Well, they aren't any more! She recently surprised me with the release of her first novel, Lust for Danger. Now I'm trying to get a bit role in the film adaptation!
People For The American Way--I believe strongly in religious freedom. I just happen to have a different definition for that freedom from the Religious Right. Ensure true religious and personal freedom for all Americans, not just Christian fundamentalists.
ACLU Freedom Network--Despite innuendoes and campaign attacks from a certain former President who shall remain nameless but whose son is currently making a mess of our country, the American Civil Liberties Union is an organization dedicated to preserving the Constitution of the United States of America, albeit sometimes a little too zealously.
Big Fat Lies--I'm not normally given to ad hominem attacks, but in the case of this bloated lying fascist windbag, I'm willing to make an exception.
Car Talk--I've been listening to Tom and Ray for over 20 years. I love these guys!
Tori Amos--Tori is a beautiful songstress with a powerful repertoire of highly personal, confessional music.
Christine Lavin Home Page--Christine is a delightful singer, songwriter and solo performer, hilariously funny and still touchingly sensitive. Also the original driving force behind the Four Bitchin' Babes.
Lucy Kaplansky--Lucy is a talented singer/songwriter (and former clinical psychologist) whom I had the pleasure to meet after two outstanding performances in December 1995.
National Public Radio--if you're like me, and you simply hate those irritating commercials on the radio, there is an alternative. Since the Republican onslaught of the 1990s, public broadcasting needs your support more than ever!
The Saturn Site--the car, not the planet. I bought one in late 1994 after my VW GTI burned up and I love it! This really is a different kind of car company.
